- Support and communication data: content of enquiries via contact form/email, metadata (time, delivery information).
- Billing/transaction data: purchased services (e.g., credits/promotions), timestamps, amounts, invoice details (where required). Payment data (e.g., card details) is generally processed directly by the payment service provider.
3.2 Data we collect automatically

- Log and security data: system events, error logs, abuse and fraud signals.
- Cookie/tracking data: information from cookies or similar technologies (see Section 8).
4. Purposes of processing
We process personal data in particular for the following purposes:
- Providing, operating, and securing the website and platform.
- Registering, administering, and authenticating user accounts.
- Publishing and managing profiles/listings (for advertisers), including moderation and abuse prevention.
- Delivering contractually agreed services (e.g., credits, featured placements, premium features) and handling billing.
- Communicating with users (support, system notices, security-related notifications).
- Analysing and improving platform features, quality, and performance (generally aggregated or pseudonymised).
- Detecting, preventing, and responding to abuse, fraud, unlawful activities, and security incidents.
- Enforcing our Terms and Conditions and asserting/defending legal claims.
5. Legal bases (FADP/DSG)
Under the Swiss FADP/DSG, depending on the circumstances, we rely in particular on:
- Contractual necessity: where processing is necessary to administer a user account or provide services.
- Consent: where we explicitly request your consent (e.g., optional cookies/marketing, if used).
- Overriding private or public interests: in particular for operation, IT security, fraud prevention, combating abuse, legal enforcement, and improving our services.
- Legal obligations: where we must retain or disclose data under applicable rules.
6. Recipients and categories of service providers
We disclose personal data only where necessary or where an appropriate basis exists. Recipients may include:
- IT and hosting providers (operation, maintenance, infrastructure, content delivery, monitoring).
- Payment service providers (payment processing, fraud prevention). Payment data is typically processed directly by the payment provider.
- Support/communications providers (e.g., ticketing, email delivery), if used.
- Analytics/measurement providers (e.g., web analytics), where enabled and in line with cookie preferences.
- Authorities or courts, where we are legally required to do so.
Our service providers process data as processors on our instructions and are contractually bound to confidentiality and data security.
7. Transfers abroad
Depending on the service providers used, processing or storage may take place outside Switzerland. In such cases, we ensure an adequate level of data protection, for example by:
- transferring data to countries recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, or
- using contractual safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) and additional protective measures where required.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to provide the website, store settings, and ensure security. Depending on configuration, analytics cookies may also be used.
- Technically necessary cookies: for login, session, security, and essential functions.
- Analytics/measurement cookies (optional): for audience measurement and platform improvement (generally aggregated/pseudonymised).
You can restrict or delete cookies in your browser settings. Please note that certain functions may then be unavailable or only partially available. If we implement a cookie banner, you can manage your preferences there.
9. Retention period
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as long as we are legally required to do so. Typical criteria include:
- Account data: for the duration of the active account; thereafter deletion or anonymisation unless retention obligations apply.
- Billing/accounting data: in accordance with statutory retention periods.
- Log and security data: as long as necessary to ensure operation and security; thereafter deletion or aggregation.
Note on reserved usernames: If an account is deleted, we may mark the username as reserved to prevent identity misuse. This reservation generally contains no additional account data and is retained only as long as necessary for abuse prevention.
Note on bans/abuse: In the event of serious violations of our terms, we may retain certain data (e.g., email address, technical signals) for as long as necessary to enforce bans and prevent abuse, to protect our overriding interests, or to pursue/defend legal claims.
10. Data protection rights
Under the FADP/DSG, depending on the circumstances, you have in particular the following rights:
- Access: you may request information on whether we process personal data about you.
- Rectification: you may request correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure/removal: you may request deletion, unless overriding interests or legal obligations prevent it.
- Provision/transfer: under certain conditions, you may request provision or transfer of data (in particular in the case of automated processing).
- Withdrawal of consent: you may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise your rights, please contact us at [privacy@…]. We may request reasonable proof of identity.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB).
11. Protection of minors (18+)
Use of our platform is permitted only to persons who are at least 18 years old and/or have reached the age of majority. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe that data from minors has been provided to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps.
12. Data security and confidentiality
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These may include, among other things: encryption (e.g., TLS/HTTPS), access controls, logging, backups, and patch/vulnerability management.
Despite appropriate safeguards, no data transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as needed, in particular in the event of changes to our services, the technologies used, or legal requirements. The current version will be published on this page.
